Gallery “House Nashokin” in its exhibition policy has always adhered to one principle – to show the best and most talented members of the time, the direction of the genre. This exhibition – a kind of retrospective dedicated to our business for 15 years, which was a lot of bright and unforgettable pages. It will present paintings, drawings, photographs, sculpture of the authors from the gallery collection, which was exhibited at the “House Nashokin” in the history of its existence.
Gallery “House Nashokin” opened in May 1994, the exhibition charts Mikhail Shemyakin. The exhibition was a resounding success, and all its subsequent exposure We dedicated artists of the sixties, whose work for many years has not been recognized. Their names were often heard at all, but the work is still exhibited only in the West. Thanks solo exhibition “Home Nashokin” our compatriots were able to get acquainted with the work of these artists. So, here for the first time in the post-Soviet era exhibited the aforementioned Mikhail Shemyakin (two shows), Oleg Tselkov, Ernst Neizvestny, Dmitry Plavinsky, Yuri Kuper, and living in Moscow – Mikhail Shvartsman, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev, Anatoly Zverev, Arthur Fonvizin etc.
As a result of many years of cooperation with the best Russian museums – the Hermitage, the Tretyakov Gallery, the State Russian Museum and other art museums and private collectors – made possible such a wonderful exhibition as “Zinaida Serebryakova”, “Valentin Serov”, “Pyotr Konchalovsky”, “Drevin and Udaltsov “,” Russian romanticism, “and many others.
The gallery also held solo exhibitions of contemporary artists who invariably arouse great interest among the public – Natalia Nesterova, Lyubarova Vladimir, Vladimir Voinovich, Gayane, Alexander Petrov and many others. Gallery had over the years many collective exhibitions rossiysih artists, with the participation of acclaimed classics and young talent.
Also enjoyed great popularity photo and art exhibitions of prominent figures of the twentieth century – Rudolf Nureyev, Marlene Dietrich, Frida Kahlo, Leni Riefenstahl, Marilyn Monroe, Tonino Guerra, Otar Iosseliani and many others.
